Super Fantastical Maker Picnic!

We're turning one! It's hard to believe that a year has already gone by since we first opened our doors.

To celebrate and thank all the amazing volunteers, kids, parents, mentors who helped create MakerKids, we're having a Super-Fantastical-Maker-Picnic in Dufferin Grove park!

Sunday, August 11 from 2-5 pm. Everyone is welcome!

Join us in celebrating with:

Make your own wood-fire cooked pizza (pay on site)
Air rocket building station
Mega croquet
Parachute and other games
Sand mud construction pit
Kids project showcase

We'll be using the beautiful Dufferin Grove wood fired pizza oven for a make your own pizza station from 2-3 pm - pay for this on site.

Dufferin Grove has an amazing sand construction area with a hose-fed stream. There is also a wading pool, so bring your bathing suit if you want to cool off.

Hang out with the founders, meet the volunteers, learn more about Making in Toronto, or just have fun! Kids - bring any of your projects and show them off!

Do you have an old toy or something else you'd like to donate? We are accepting donations at the picnic - if you're not sure about the toy, material or equipment you'd like to donate, just ask us at info@makerkids.ca
